Academics

The academic program is designed to prepare students for admission into colleges and universities in the United States and adheres to curriculum standards established by the State of Indiana.

Our Academic Program

English is the language of instruction for all core subjects (English, math, science and social studies) in the elementary, middle school and high school. In preschool, Spanish predominates as the language of instruction, while in kindergarten, half of the classes are taught in Spanish and half are taught in English.

Along with the core curriculum mentioned above, Sojourn Academy also offers Spanish as a Second Language for ex-patriots of all ages, and English as a Foreign Language to those students who need it in preschool through third grade. Bible, physical education, music and other elective classes are sprinkled throughout the program at all levels.

Sojourn offers three after school programs for elementary and secondary students. Gymnastics and volleyball are held on Mondays and Wednesdays. Soccer is offered Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
